Analysis Of Radio Advert 1 (Alton Towers)

Above is the Radio advert promoting Alton Towers Theme Parks, and also requesting extra applicants for work.
The Radio advert begins with the classic clunk sound of a roller coaster, as it climbs to a great height. The man's voice at this moment is calm and composed.
Following this calm is the section of the ride whereby the cart begins to pick up speed as it plummets downwards. The delivery of the dialogue become more frantic and excited by the speaker. This immediately captures the attention of the audience as they are very interested in what could be causing this excitement.
This level of excitement in the man's voice is maintained throughout the entirety of the ride, so as to represent the ride as a thrilling experience from start to end.
The end of the advert comes in line with the end of the ride as the man's voice once again clams, but is now more out of breath and energised then it was at the beginning of the ride. The use of this form of advertisement is to make the audience feel as though they were there and to capture their attention as quickly and for as long as is possible.
